One of the things I had a lot of trouble with back when I was dating was being patient, I felt that I needed to do so much to let the guy know that I was interested.
I was completely WRONG.
I would call and leave a voicemail and then call again just in case he didn’t get a voicemail.
It was a very frustrating life to live.
I wish I had seen this video (below) by Kara Oh, author of Men Made Easy 5 years ago.
It took me years to learn how to be pursued and even then, it was by accident.
When I met prince charming, I thought he was cute and all when HE approached me, but I wasn’t really looking for a relationship at the time, so I just simply did not call him.
And to my surprise, he kept calling me, he kept pursuing me. I didn’t have to do anything! It was easy.
And you know what else, during the time we met, I was busy working on a business venture and when he asked me out, I was so dedicated to working, I turned him down and told him I had previous plans.
And do you know what happened. He asked me out again.
So I was pursued by accident. I didn’t know what was going on but by the time things were all done, I was in a relationship. I had finally stopped pursuing the man and it felt wonderful.
